Volleyball
Bump, set, spike! From beginners to future stars, YMCA youth volleyball is here to help boys and girls build and develop foundational skills, gain a better understanding of competitive volleyball, focus on being a great teammate and join a larger volleyball community … all without the high cost of club teams. Do volleyball the Y way!
Instructional Class
Build confidence, and learn the fundamentals of the game! Designed for all skill levels, this coed instructional program emphasizes skill development in a fun, supportive and low-pressure environment.
Each session will focus on teaching core volleyball skills such as passing, serving, setting and teamwork through engaging drills and activities. Whether your son or daughter is brand new to volleyball or looking to sharpen their skills before joining our fall league, this class is a great opportunity to learn, improve and make new friends along the way.

Volleyball Leagues
Our leagues for boys and girls in grades 4-8 are not only a great starting points for beginners, they’re also built to accommodate players with some volleyball experience looking to further develop their fundamentals and love of the game. We’ll focus on learning the basics in a comfortable, low-stress environment; it’s a great way to play with your friends (existing and new)! Coed teams will be created from a combination of geography (school attendance areas), parent/player requests and free agents.
Our program consists of one practice per week on Monday or Wednesday at Meadow View Elementary. Days will be decided on by volunteer coaches. Games will be played on Sundays (first two weeks will be practice-only). Rosters and schedules will be sent out one week prior to the start of the season.
These leagues are combined with our East and West YMCAs. Game locations will be:
Sun Prairie: Meadow View Elementary
East: East YMCA Gymnuasium
West: West YMCA Gymnasium

Practices will be on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings.
Games on Sunday will be at 12pm, 1pm or 2pm. *may change based on number of teams registered*
