In this brand new program backed by the Monona Grove Boys Varsity Basketball staff, players will participate in games through offensive advantage drills. Games will consist of 3-on-2 and 4-on-3 matchups over four quarters of basketball at 8.5’H  hoops. This style of gameplay will be new to most players, coaches and families, has roots in Europe and emphasizes the team over individuals.  Players are taught to look for the open player first and to protect the basket above all else on defense. This style of gameplay is lightning-fast and keeps kids moving as they play 1-2 possessions of a fastbreak, then get right back in the game.

Teams will practice twice a week beginning the week of October 27 with the schedule set by volunteer coaches. A mandatory coaches meeting is TBD.

Our Girls Summer Basketball Camp for 5-8th graders will be hosted by the Madison West High School Varsity Girls Basketball Program and coaches. This summer camp will stress the fundamentals of basketball skills and game-play to help develop and prepare participants for the 2025 basketball season.

The camp will run August 18th and 20th (Mon. & Wed.) from 6:00-7:30pm in the West YMCA Gym.

Please register your daughter for the grade that they will be entering in the fall of 2025. Registration will close on Friday, August 15th.
